Huntsville Handyman provides professional handyman services including, but not limited to, home repairs, commercial/industrial repairs, cottage maintenance and specialized technical repairs. All services are subject to the terms of a separate written agreement or digital work order (via Jobber) between Huntsville Handyman and the client.

3. Quotes and Estimates

Any quotes or estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Estimates are based on initial information or a site visit.

  • Scope Changes: Any changes in the scope of work requested by the client or discovered during the project may result in adjustments to the original estimate.

  • Site Visits: Initial site visits for assessment may be subject to a service call fee, which will be disclosed prior to attendance.

4. Digital Contracts & Work Orders

Before any physical work commences, a digital work order or written contract must be approved by the client. Approval via our digital management portal (Jobber) constitutes a legally binding agreement to the scope of work, payment terms, and timelines outlined therein.

5. Payments

Payments for services rendered are due as outlined in the specific project contract or invoice.

  • Methods: We accept payments via the digital portal, e-transfer, or as otherwise specified.

  • Late Payments: Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Ontario law.

  • Suspension of Work: We reserve the right to suspend work or terminate a contract if payments are not made in accordance with the agreed terms.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be provided in writing (email or portal message).

  • Deposits: Any deposits for materials (e.g., specialized lighting or electrical components) are non-refundable once the materials have been ordered.

  • Labor: Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

7. Permits and Regulations

Huntsville Handyman will obtain necessary permits as required by Ontario law for the contracted work, provided it is included in the scope of work. The client is responsible for ensuring the property is accessible and complies with any local zoning bylaws or association rules.

8. Liability

Huntsville Handyman is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website. Our professional liability for any project is limited to the total value of the contract for that specific project. We maintain active commercial general liability insurance for all site work.

9. Warranty

We take pride in our workmanship. Huntsville Handyman provides a one-year warranty on labor from the date of project completion.

  • Materials: Any materials used are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, “acts of God”, or damage caused by factors outside of our control.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, the logo, and other brand marks, is the intellectual property of Huntsville Handyman and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.
